We really got our money's worth at Hotel Tihany Atrium. The room was spacious, comfortable, and came with a nice mini-bar. Plus, the location was perfect, just 20 meters away from a beautiful Balaton beach. The staff were really good, providing discreet and excellent service throughout our stay.
The breakfast menu could use a little improvement, maybe with more variety or some additional options.

Outdated bathrooms and lack of amenities.

The breakfast buffet had a great variety, I ate like a queen. The atrium garden was lovely, perfect for sipping my champagne. I enjoyed horse riding, cycling, and fishing. just kidding, I didn't do any of that, but it's nice they offer it. The free WiFi came in handy when I needed to desperately check my social media. Parking was a breeze, so I could quickly escape this charming but claustrophobic hotel. And yes, the lake and beach were only open for one month of the year, how fortunate for me to stay during that time!
I didn't like that I had to actually leave the hotel to find a restaurant, I mean, who wants to go out and explore the local cuisine? So inconvenient!

We stayed at Atrium in a small and basic hotel that offered a peaceful retreat near a private beach. the location was ideal, with a 15-minute walk to the city center, perfect for a quiet weekend away from the hustle and bustle. the hotel itself was cozy, with a small bar for evening drinks and a breakfast area in the morning. the buffet breakfast was plentiful and tasty, offering a variety of options. We enjoyed sitting on the nice terrace, surrounded by ample space, shade, and the pleasant sound of bird songs. the friendly manager was always there to help, providing useful advice on restaurants. we had free access to a private "beach" area by the lake with full facilities. the comfortable bed ensured a relaxing holiday.
All was good. ✨

Great location, easy to get to the lake and local attractions. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our romantic escape enjoyable. Parking was convenient and the breakfast served at the hotel was delicious. We also appreciated the fact that there was a bar on-site, where we could relax and have a drink after a long day.
One thing to note is that the bathroom could use some improvement. The shower setup was a bit inconvenient, as there was no separate shower cabin and the bathtub didn't have a curtain.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of options to satisfy all tastes. We were pleasantly surprised when they provided us with a kettle and milk for our room upon request, allowing us to enjoy our coffee in the morning. The location right across from the lake was breathtaking, and the view from our room was jaw-dropping. The room itself was spacious and immaculately clean, with comfortable beds and a working AC unit. The hotel bar offered a convenient bar menu for those days when we didn't feel like going out to eat. we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this hotel to others.
